Se esperaba espectáculo, y eso es lo que dieron. En esta edición de los premios Emmy los grandes galardonados han sido sin lugar a dudas ‘Juego de Tronos’, que contaba con 23 nominaciones y se ha llevado a casa 9, y sobre todo debemos destacar el papel de ‘The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story’, en la que sus actores y actrices han arrasado en casi todas las categorías donde se encontraban nominados, 13 premios en total. La gran Maggie Smith de ‘Downton Abbey’ se llevó finalmente el Emmy en la última oportunidad que se le brindaba a su personaje Lady Grantham.
Tatiana Maslany y Rami Malek han dado la sorpresa, al llevarse dos de los galardones más importantes de la noche, dejando en la estacada a nombres como Liev Schreiber y Kevin Spacey o Viola Davis y Taraji P. Henson.
La alfombra roja por su parte ha dado mucho que hablar, hemos tenido desde tatuajes conjuntos con las dos hermanas protagonistas en ‘Juego de Tronos’ (Sansa y Arya) hasta una muy voluminosa debido a su avanzado embarazo Kerry Washington.
